Watched Taxi Driver again last night. Jesus what a great film and De Niro's acting is unbelievably good. Also I'd forgotten how good Cybil Sheppard was as an actress (and bloody good looking).

I find the title of this thread more offensive than De Niro's slippery slide into cheesy roles..

Apparently though the Scorsese film 'The Irishman' is still in production where despite being 75, he will be 'deep faked' into looking 40 or something.

Had many outstanding performances but I thought he was great in A Boys Life

They can do that with anything now - it began with voices when Stock Aitken and Waterman deep throated Kylie.
