ROME - The pressure is on Manchester City: De Rossi wants. Smart Choice by Mancini, who misses above all a great midfielder to complete a team already stratospheric. The offensive, therefore, is very strong: it will also be decisive? Will tell us these last days of the market. Italian football - and not just the Giallorossi fans - hopes that the Rome rejects the assault of the sheik. The departure of De Rossi would be an enormous loss for everyone. For Zeman and for the Americans, who would lose a great champion and a symbol of the city and society, but also for our whole movement. It 's true, now we have become accustomed to seeing from the stars more or less light from our league. We believe that in order to compete with English and Spanish, we must rely on other quality programming, ideas, expertise. Besides, only in this summer we saw fly away Ibra and Thiago Silva, Lavezzi and Verratti, I Borini and possibly Ramirez. But De Rossi would be the biggest blow because he is Italian, is a symbol of the national team (in August it was the captain and scored England), is in full maturity. Roma, we are sure, will respect the word and will sell only in the face of an offer must. Yeah, but how to quantify it? The Giallorossi ds Sabatini, with a large excess but in a useful way to make the idea, talked about one hundred million euros. It 'clear that De Rossi will also be sold for a lot less. Because the possible departure of the Roman sample can be understood by the people, it is essential that the amount collected by the company is - shall we say - exaggerated. Not a 'normal' market valuation, in short, but much more. Money to buy players of high level in order to strengthen a midfield that, without De Rossi would be devastated, money also necessary to digest goodbye to a sample, a reference point, a flag. This figure is exaggerated, yes. How were the 62 million disbursed from PSG for Ibra and Thiago. As they are, can not be the 20 mentioned by De Rossi.

Interesting ... says we've "bid over 20 mil for the midfielder and His (de Rossi's) attorney/representative is already in Manchester and Baldini flies to London on private business" ....

This all smacks to me of internal politics between Marwood and Mancini.

New CEO arrives and low and behold the clubs cock ups are all aired in the press. Player not signed early enough even though money available, now other teams are involved it will be difficult. Suspect in many ways Mancini all along been happy with the squad, but has manipulated things to show the failings of Marwood.

But De Rossi is a long term target of Mancini's, yet we've waited until the last two weeks of the transfer window to get serious in our negotiations with Roma? I'm not surprised Mancini is pissed off.
City have been trying for months for Rossi. Just because it's just broken now doesn't mean marwood has just picked up the phone and banged an offer in!

This is a lie from Mancini then?

"What I said last time was not because I had a problem with Brian - I don't,''

Am I being a overly optmistic in thinking there might be annoucement in the next couple of days?
