Roberto Mancini’s former agent “can confirm the interest in Daniele De Rossi and an offer could be up to the task” from Manchester City.

The Roma midfielder has long been a favourite for Mancini, who reportedly saw a £23m bid rebuffed this summer.

“I can confirm the interest in De Rossi,” Mancini’s former agent and friend Giorgio De Giorgis told Tele Radio Stereo.

“Mancini really likes De Rossi and an offer could be up to the task, seeing as so far Manchester City haven’t done much on the transfer market.

“Roma consider the player to be unsellable, but I don’t know if De Rossi’s agent Sergio Berti really is in Manchester, as the media have claimed.”

They missed a trick with Rodwell. I don't think Everton will sell anyone else this season so they can forget Fellani or Baines if they are interested

I remember Damocles having a huge post of Freestyler's transfers-gone-wrong sometime last summer. It was fun reading.
 
Didn't get in until 5 today and it's taken me until now to catch up with the thread....

Nice to be proved right, all the people saying we don't need to make any signings - I said this place would go into overdrive the minute there was a hint of a big name transfer!

I still stick by what I said last night that IF it was proved to be correct that DDR's agent was over here then it's pretty much in the bag. Seeing as it now seems the case that he is here then chill everyone, it will get done - we won't fuck up anything as big as this.

For all you flappers out there as well, the reason SSN and general media aren't saying much is that they are too busy with the RvP wankfest and would hate us to usurp the scum by making such a huge statement, I've even just watched "bignose" enjoying the fact we haven't made a biggie. Yet.

De Rossi - from his performances for Roma against the big teams, I would rather wait for Fletcher to recover (given what seem to be the estimate of his transfer price and wages)

How about that for a statement on ragcafe.LOL
