We have so many options really. But I'd prefer to see 3 top strikers play together at least some of the time. In this example the height everywhere bar Tevez and Aguero could prove effective.

We need to rest the lad ;). Point is, with De Rossi there are many different options for the manager.

DDR, Agger, Sinclair and a cheeky last minute swoop for Cavani.

In terms of giving Yaya a rest, there are plenty of options available with NDJ, Barry, Milner and Rodwell. All of whom are perfectly capable of playing against lower league opposition or the domestic cups. The biggest area for concern is in central defence, and if Marwood is holding a tight grip on the purse strings then this is where the money should go. Kolo and Savic are pretty ropey as back up, but the the midfield is the best in Europe.

I think we should forget about De Rossi. If we were truly trying to sign him i'd imagine we'd have at least made an offer at this stage. We shouldn't have to sell our club to anyone anyway. He either wants to join us or he doesn't. If he does great if he doesn't fuck him we'll move on.

City are already the League Champions, have a world class squad, good income and very ambitious club with an Italian coach who is a big fan of him !


What else does he have to tell him ?

So his club Roma get the best possible fee for him?

Personally, I don't think he'll come to us.

But I do wonder why we'd be approaching him now if there was no way the player would come to us. Not at this stage of the window anyway.

I hope we get him but just don't actually see him leaving Roma. It's like Gerrard at Liverpool. He thought about it but just couldn't do it... Although maybe he should've made the leap and actually won a league title before he retired.

But it isn't everything to every player. Some feel a special attatchment to their club and so just can't leave. As football supporters we should appreciate that and actually admire it.
