reputation based at the mo. Hasn't been world-class good for a few seasons now. If we want a CM get one for cover, not one that will be first choice.

No, it would be De Rossi to replace SWP in the squad.

If Tevez stays someone would have to sacrifice his CL place for de Rossi, probably Taylor would be left out to make way and the third goalkeeper place would be covered by Johansen from the U21 B list. SWP can't be replaced except by a senior club trained player - the only candidates are now Ned or Weiss, everybody else has been moved on permanently or on loan.
