Okay, so I'm one of the ones that's been saying we need a 'Vieira replacement' but what a Vieira replacement effectively means is taking on around 32 appearances, probably less than half of them starts. Surely De Rossi is way, way too good for that and it will lead to problems?

if De Rossi comes, we would have to drop Barry or NDJ, there aint many mids better than De Rossi, he's got it all

Our interest in De Rossi shows that Bobby is deadly serious about wanting to play two different teams in CL / PL when we have 2 games in 3 days.

Rossi plays alongside Yaya in CL, then 2 out of Barry/De Jong/ Milner play in PL.

I presumed this De Rossi thread was a load of rubbish but there appears to be some substance to it. I'm all for a big squad but this really would put the cat amongst the pigeons.
