he'll be 29 next season, not really much younger than Barry or Yaya. Wouldn't sign him this window but if we could get a pre-contract to get him for free in the summer I say yes. But if he really is Roma through and through I don't think he'd have the audacity to leave the club getting nothing for him.

Bit harsh, he won't cost us again and again, but he doesn't fit in with the footballing philosophy. What we do need, is another CB to replace Lescott because he shits me up every time the ball goes near his feet. Great in the air, but so poor on the ground. He's a footballer who can't play football
You've got to wonder how on earth Mancini hasn't found anyone to play in place of Lescott - the only weak link in this side.....................this guy is going to cost us, again, and again, and again.
As for De Rossi, i'd love the guy here, but i can't see where everyone would fit in. Barry seems to be reborn again, de Jong is de Jong and Yaya can slot easily between DM, CM and AM. De Rossi is a perfect midfielder, he can do everything, but it seems a signing too far for me. De Rossi will play on until he is 35/36, just sat in the Pirlo role pinging balls around everywhere when he gets a lot older, but he's in his prime for another 3 years

could be the same logic that people think because Lille are interested in Joe F'n Cole they're going to sell Eden Hazard. Maybe it's because, aside from De Rossi, Roma's midfield is complete and utter wank?

They have lost players this summer, a "facelift" of sorts is probably just what's occuring
