May part of this be down to tax? If someone who knows more about this could speak up that would be amazing? I assume the government here takes a larger slice off your earnings than in italy.

Now anyway, after tonights game I now understand the need of someone like De Rossi, I thought Yaya has played terrible lately but he's literally the only player of that mould we have, De Rossi could allow him to rest and get the best out of them both.

Apparently he played CB for Roma against Juve and was man of the match (also scored) - did anyone see the game? A truly classy player, you have to wonder if he's struggle to settle into an English lifestyle though, as Mancini says he is Roman through and through.

We need someone who can step up in the gritty, no holds bard games and grab it by the bollocks. Nigel has the defensive balls to the wall capabilities, but he doesn't offer much else. De Rossi would be perfect.

Spot on.

Makes me wonder how much of Mancini's interest is in his talent vs. his mentality.

He looks like a tough sonuvabitch. If Totti hadn't played so long, they say he would have been captain already.

I wouldn't mind some mental toughness in this squad after last night.
