The club paid unrealistic wages to attract players because the club wasn't very attractive. But After what the club did last season ( 3rd + FA Cup ) and what the club is doing this season ( 1st so far & Fav to win the Title) we should start paying more realistic wages.
As Blue Haze said " Anyone short of Iniesta's level is not worth 200 k a week " and I agree with him.
