This is very intersting, i can see this being a massive help in our aim to sign him. Not many players get this opportunity that includes their Father obtaining a very important role at the club they are signing for!!

I will be soooo happy if we get him cause he is truly world class, but sad too see barry becoming a bench warmer again.

Sounds like a great offer for De Rossi senior... I sure hope he has what it takes though. It's a position of paramount importance to this club and he'll be carrying a huge responsibility on his shoulders.

City negotiators are brilliant ! They probably knew one of the primary reasons De Rossi wants to stay at Roma is his father is a coach there. Sweeten the deal, they know how to warm De Rossi up and bring him over!! Hopefully he will come over as he is brilliant!

If that is true, and it is a big if, it doesnt sit comfortably with me. Smacks of desperation. How good is his father at what he does, who knows.
