im 100% certain if a city player had come out and said that we'd be resigned to losing him. De rossi is ours imo, i just hope he can play against spurs but i wont hold my breathe

even if Roberto is able to bring here, it won't be by Sunday, probably nearer to end of Jan. Again, big IF we get him, which is highly skeptical the way de Rossi is being cryptic as f*ck

It's such a vague comment, it could be interpreted either way. It's like Days of Our Lives (that American soap opera) with footballers and transfer sagas, everything takes forever to get done!

Roma's Daniele De Rossi: I have very clear ideas about my future
The Italy international star was very enigmatic about his future and only said that he has already made up his mind regarding what he will do at the end of the season

The 28-year-old's current deal expires in the summer and negotiations regarding a new contract have so far proved fruitless.

Roma are keen to tie De Rossi down to a new contract amidst reports that free-spending Manchester City are interested in the Italy international.

"I have clear ideas about what I should do, but I prefer not to say them right now," he told Sky Sport Italia after Roma's 2-0 victory over Chievo.

"All that matters to me is that Roma win. It is necessary to say things at the right time.

"I can only say that, day after day, everything is getting more clear."

Reports in Italy claim that Roma have made a final offer of €6 million per annum to convince De Rossi to commit his future to the Stadio Olimpico club.

Hahah ... so true!

His comments remind me of Aguero's comments when he decide to leave Atletico, he said I promised the fans that If I will leave they will be the first to know !

According to the Daily Fail, there's no money for Roberto to spend regardless of any departures this window.

At the "end" of the race yesterday between Catania and Rome, Daniele De Rossi has spoken. Here's an excerpt of his words taken from the BBC. "It has not reached an agreement, I hope we will soon. I have a clear idea, my dream is to win with Rome, the love is great and this is important. The impression is that the boy has chosen to sign their own renewal.
