As for having no money to spend, absolute crap. The club simply want to be seen to be attempting to balance the books.

If there is supposedly no money to spend in January, when we intend to get rid of Tevez, the same claims should be made we will actually never buy again!

There is absolutely nothing between the closing of the January window and the opening of the summer one, which would see us go from a no spend policy to the resumption of one.

It's a shot in the dark story based on the fact we have done no business this month - with a convenient caveat in all the reports that Mancini will still try and win the battle!

That's my concern about the money tolm and you saying de Rossi being fucked about,surely if we want him that badly then the tevez transfer shouldn't make any difference.

Hasn't De Rossi been badly out of form for a while now? Not doubting his obvious talent but the Premier League is the hardest league in the world to adapt to, especialy for Italians.

But de Rossi would not be a cover player would he?? A world class midfielder with 6 months left on his contract available for next to nowt is a must surely? Have you been happy with our performances recently then bud? And no I'm not a child or a panic monster but a person that can actually see how our form has dipped without yaya!!

To be fair Ducado, he does have a point.
We have had 2 months to try and get a deal sorted out for Tevez (you could say 5 months if you go back to summer). This should have happened by now, and if we are definitely in for DDR then maybe this should have been agreed.
It is a crying shame, to lose out on a quality player and possibly another trophy due to having a big gaping hole left by Yaya.
DDR and Yaya will be an awesome midfield pairing and I'm still hopeful he'll be ours before the Spurs/Liverpool game if not, then the end of January.
