Is anyone concerned about how poor our free kicks and corners have been? Do any of the four new signings offer anything different or should we be on the look out for the next Elano?

We hardly ever scored from corners when we had Elano. Title winning year we scored more goals from set-pieces than anyone else.

Fernandinho perhaps.

We have one in Kolarov although everyone seems intent on getting rid of him...

Silva's corners are decent and now we look like we'll usually be playing a big striker to exploit them. Richards being back will also add a few goals a season from corners.

I remember seeing Milner score a few for other teams but Tevez, Silva, Kolarov and Yaya have took the majority of free kicks whilst he's been here.

Kolarov's attempts are nowhere near consistent enough for him to be considered a specialist.
