club haven't confirmed the nature of the injury. if it's a full tear, like Mendy and Gundogan, then yes, it's minimum 6 months. until that is confirmed, let's not assume the worst.

Did you get your medical degree in the mail?It's more to provide stability and prevent further damage. A complete rupture can be diagnosed immediately whereas with a year or damage, it's a little more difficult to spot until it pops again.
Walking doesn't necessarily make it worse but any twist could cause double the damage.
