Just not wasting energy over this anymore. If he stays then great, if he leaves then he would have been out until March anyway, and I'm sure we'll find a good replacement. Maybe we'll be keeping a keener eye on Oyarzabal this season. Will be sad to see Leroy go but we were near perfect in the second half of last season without him in the side for much of it. Sadly I can't see him ever reaching his potential in Germany, but I'm sure he'll be happy there if he does go. £100m sounds alright to me.

Not sure what is the significance of some keep repeating the same: Leroy has never said he is unhappy or wanting to leave. This doesn’t mean much. He could be the unhappiest of the bunch and eager to leave without saying that publicly. I would like for him to stay because he is a good player, yes just good because he hasn’t proven yet to be more than that. At the meantime, he has a phenomenal potential that requires a lot of work and dedication to materialize. Does he have it? He is the only one capable of proving/disproving that. Regarding our club; Leroy stays or Leroy leaves? No big difference. I will not loose a moment of sleep if he leaves, similar to what happened when we didn’t get Alexis, Pogba, and Alvis. We will do well with or without him because we are in good hands (and that is not arrogance as it is simply a fact). For those who already made him the new Messi, new Ronaldo, or guaranteed Ballon d’Or winner, please give us a break. He is already 23 and still incapable of breaking regularly into our starting 11 or his national team’s starting 11. Of course, Pep and Löw are nincompoops who can’t understand and accommodate the Ballon d’Or-soon-to-be-winner. And our Club is run by a bunch of imbeciles who don’t want to yield to Leroy and his mom and break their payment structure to accommodate them. The payment structure that took years of trial and error to establish. People who are “half-empty-glass-type” and enjoy only or mainly seeing Leroy playing will probably suffer if he leaves, but that is their plight. I enjoy very much watching KDB, Raheem, Bernardo, Kun, and David (or better the entire team playing together as one unit). Any of those players is just a pleasure to watch. Raheem and Bernardo are already way ahead of Leroy. Looks like Jesus and Foden are on their way to become a great joy to watch as well. In fact, I enjoy watching any of those players more than watching Leroy when he is disinterested and not in the mood, loosing the ball 5 times in 10 minutes, or when he gets into one of his bizarre laziness episodes and becomes not willing to put an effort, or when he sulks like a little baby when he doesn’t get a pass or when someone yells at him. In any case, to confirm it, I wish that he stays and reaches his potential with us. But, at the end, if he chooses to leave, it will be his loss. I still do hope he doesn’t go to Bayern; just to enjoy seeing the misery on Uli’s and Karl-Heinz’s faces. However, it is somehow interesting to see if he joins Bayern and then leaves them in 2-3 years because of failing again to discipline himself.
The amount of people that pine over sancho as he is doing well having never played for us then interesting how they react if leroy becomes fake ron level

There are plenty more sources, but for the sake of time i only post the first ones i find again:

- until now, Sane does not want to extend his contract at City - SOURCE?
it's a fact. no source needed.

- there was a fixed agreement about the contract with Sane and Bayern - SOURCE?

https://www.sportbuzzer.de/artikel/...chsel-einigung-gehalt-manchester-city-ablose/

- for the Friday the 9th, Bayern set an appointment for a mecial check - SOURCE?

https://twitter.com/iMiaSanMia/status/1161615110277910529 (Christian Falk is the Head of the football section at Bild. One of the most reliable sources in germany)

- Bayern asked City for not playing Sane at the Community Shield - SOURCE

- If there won't be a transer from Sane to Bayern, then Sane would lose at least 10M up to 20M € in this season -
Do you have a source of his wages at Bayern if he were to sign? To lose 20m Euros equates to around an additional 375k euros per week on top of his current wage which means he was being offered circa £400p.w on top of his current wage!!!
https://www.dailymail.co.uk/sport/f...illion-Bayern-Munich-contract-ACL-injury.html

The english media is talking about €21m a year, the german about €18m/year. Sane gets €4.8m currently at City. That makes a difference of €16.2m. If you consider some extra bounty for signing the contract, we can easily go above €20m for this season.

PS:
City fans are very friendly and humble. :-)

Not to pile on, but none of them are facts - three are from the same source, Falk writing in Bild, and one is France Football. Half-decent operators verify with multiple sources and not when it's conjecture.

Stating there is a fixed agreement about a contract is incorrect, when ostensibly no formal 'negotiations' have occurred and according to City they haven't received any bids or offers for Sané.

That being said, it's evident he fancies it...as is expected in his situation and with the offer...however, the attitude & behaviour of Bayern is extraordinary.

Would seem a very strange choice but not beyond the realms of possibility.
I’m going to go with ‘No’
I ask because maybe a Barca based surgeon will obviously have links with that football club and our recent Der Spiegal problems may actually partly stem from Barca and not BM.

Perhaps we changed for purely medical reasons, after all change happens in all sectors of business.

Sincerely hope we change our Travel Agent after the pre season Thomas Cook debacle.

On the other hand it's his knee and his career going fowards,i would want to chose who operated on it,having said that i think this might be the last straw
Yep that's it really. I was always of the opinion he wanted out and probably would have been better for all concerned if it was sorted out earlier in the summer. One thing is bugging me is it money or a deep desire to go to Munich which is the key factor.

I think it's entirely possible for Leroy to have the potential to be one of the best players in the world, and also be incapable of reaching that potential here because he can't get in the side because he's not doing what Pep wants.

Ribery finished 3rd in a Ballon d'or vote, but he couldn't mesh well with Pep, who knew he had everything needed to be a perfect false 9. They tried for months but Ribery just couldn't get it, so Pep just had to stop trying and eventually used him in a traditional role and less often.

If after 3 years things still aren't quite there, then someone comes along and offers you £120m for a 5th choice forward (which Leroy could easily be if Mahrez continues as he started) and the guy wants to leave, then it's a good move to take the cash and spend some on another very exciting winger with the potential to be one of the best in the world. Whether that's Sancho or Felix or whoever doesn't matter.

I agree with the few who suggest that Cristiano would not be the player he is today if Pep was his manager. Think he would have stifled his individuality. Some players work better under different managers basically.
