What that suggests is that Pep saw the potential in Sane in Germany and has developed his game at City.

Perhaps there are players , other than Sancho , who match the player Pep would want to sign in the event of Sane going to BM ? Maybe Sancho is viewed as an "easy link " rather than a realistic link ?

Obviously Atletico have just paid a massive fee for a 19 year old and I know little about him , so some clubs are prepared to pay these massive transfer fees presumably based upon " potential " . Sancho quoted as being £100m +,

I am not so sure that City are prepared to gamble so much .
