I agree but I don't think they have 120m unless on argos payments.Anything less than £120m and we have been well and truly mugged off.

Just maybe the club are happy to see him go if Bayern meet our terms.I agree with this. We know Bayern are interested in him, but don't seem to have made much of an effort to sway him in the direction of staying with us. It was reported that we wouldn't be raising our contract offer to him and, towards the end of last season, he seemed to start virtually none of the big games. Would be hardly surprising that his head has been turned by Bayern given our apparent lack of interest in trying to persuade him that his future lies with us.
I found out the other day that a rival law firm had tried to poach two of my firm's best lawyers. In response, the managing partner gave them both a pay rise and a promotion. In the real world, that's how you get people to turn down offers from your competitors. Just telling them that they're welcome to stay on the existing terms doesn't cut it, I'm afraid.
EDIT - I'm sure City know this, and my conclusion is that we therefore can't regard him as indispensable. It will disappoint me to see him go, but I assume there's a plan behind it if he does.

The club has an incredible transfer record and rarely gets things wrong.
Have missed about 1000 pages here, is he leaving?

18 months and counting on his contract, Bayern have us , especially after the injury.Lets get this right, coutinho went to barca for £120m. Sane is a much better player with a much higher ceiling to hit.
£120m for me doesn't cut it
There is one small but significant possibility:
Bayern struggle and fall of CL contention. This does seem unlikely but it may become relevant. It may also force Bayern to move for him in Jan.
See the Bundesliga Table: https://www.bbc.co.uk/sport/football/german-bundesliga/table (4th with 18 points from 10 games).
It might strengthen it, but it might weaken Sane's interest. They don't look too healthy. There'd be a lot of pressure on him if he went there.Kovac parts company.
Not sure whether that strengthens or weakens their resolve in landing Sane.

Ideal situation is that Bayern leave it until the SUmmer, and they fail to qualify for the CL and Sane stays at City. If they are 4th now, there must be a decent chance of that.
