everything went wrong with leroy, unfortunately. Not signing a contract, then when we finally decided we're going to sell and Bayern was ready to pay 100+ mil, he gets injured and when he came back and we could at least see him in city shirt for 2-3 more months, covid hits. We're going to get significantly less money for him now and there is a large possibility he'll see his contract out eventually and go for free. Even if we sell this summer we might get 50 mil or around that, I doubt it would be much more than that.

Everything you say is true, other than, there was no indication whatsoever that bayern would offer anywhere neat 100m, let allne th ed 140m or so we were expecting. therefore there was little or no chance he would have been sold in the summer. irrespective of whether he wanted the move. Which he never said he did. Both things needed to happen for him to be sold. Neither did. One sure as hell wasnt going to, i.e bayern paying what we wanted, so he'd have been with us this season no matter what. The injury was highly unfortunate. covid obviously a disaster, worldwide. neither changes the story of the summer though.

Meh, we would definitely sell last summer and they were pretty ready to pay around our quote. You can put head in sand as much as you want. You don't know any detail for sure for any transfer in the world, but lot of them are pretty certain long before they happen. So, asking someone on football forum about proof of something that hasn't materialized is pedantic bollocks. It's my opinion, I don't care what you think about it.

Based on what, would bayern have paid what we wanted for him. The club set out such a strong stance of not selling for less than tge price they named. no way were they gojng to budge. Bayern set such a strong stance of not paying more than their record ever buy (which was half of what we wanted). there was no middli ground there as it was so far if a stretch for both, and neither would budge.

another one who wants Txiki on the forum. Might as well not read forums and news about transfer and such, no one is Txiki there. Sane was as good as gone last summer, it's same now unfortunately. Unless he wants to see his contract out to go on free. Both are shit options.

Personally think we will be lucky to get 30m with the current situation, in fact I think that will be a great deal.

If i'm tixi, does that make you all 3 of tixi, karl And sane all at the same time?

I don't need to be tixi, to read what he and the rest said.
There was no chance bayern were going to pay 100m for him. they spent all summer saying it. And even if by some miracle they did, there was no chance we were going to accept it. The club came out and said 140m. All the speculation in the workd doesnt change how far apart they were.

Agree with the rest, he's gone, and not for a lot. the injury was unfortunate. because he didn't get to play for us again. Not because bayern didn't end up getting him.

Well. The new official Bayern Coach prefers Havertz even after the contract-extention of Müller. Flick is the Former Assistant Coach of Low so I can see why he maybe doesn‘t want him. Flick wants Havertz/Werner , Salihamidzic wants Sané and the Board prefers Havertz. It‘s quite funny. They had the chance to get Werner for 30M last year and said no. Now they might get him for 60M.

On that basis why sell him makes no sense.
Id offer him a decent contract if he turns it down then hes made his choice.
