We will take the 50mil if it comes to it, we have nothing to gain by sticking it out. Sane would be the only player in the last 5/6 years we have sold that has been anywhere near his peak (Tevez the last I can think of). Clubs already know we don't sell our best players.

Meh, we would definitely sell last summer and they were pretty ready to pay around our quote. You can put head in sand as much as you want. You don't know any detail for sure for any transfer in the world, but lot of them are pretty certain long before they happen. So, asking someone on football forum about proof of something that hasn't materialized is pedantic bollocks. It's my opinion, I don't care what you think about it.
Exactly why I phrased my post in that way, it is a lot better than saying you're typing a load of made up bollocks, you said so yourself "you don't know any detail of any transfer" and let's face it City have been masters at keeping their dealings under wraps.
Having just reread your post and caught your last line, lol how pathetic do you sound, take your fucking ball in with you when you go.

Dear fucking me.

another one who wants Txiki on the forum. Might as well not read forums and news about transfer and such, no one is Txiki there. Sane was as good as gone last summer, it's same now unfortunately. Unless he wants to see his contract out to go on free. Both are shit options.
Well we certainly wont need to read anywhere else for transfer news, we will all come straight to you for the 100% unverified truth.
Excellent stuff, it will save a lot trawling and having to read city extra telling us 89time a day that he is definitely going and bayern are putting a bid in any moment now. Oh and one more thing, nobody was asking for Tixi to confirm anything.

I'd sell Sane to Bayern for £50m. Plough the money into Aguero's replacement fund. Martinez and Werner seem to be two future strikers we have eyes on. Sane's attitude will hopefully replicate at Bayern and they'll have overpaid. Talented boy, but commitment is zero.

Totally agree with you, do not know what his actual problem is, typical young arrogant under achieving player who thinks he is better than he really is, if it is because he was not an automatic pick then he should look at himself, you have to perform to get in Peps eleven, it is no good playing one good game out of three or four and then sulking, take a leaf out of Sergio's book and when put under pressure to perform, pull your finger out and make yourself impossible not to pick for the next game. He is a fantastic talent and nowhere near his potential but seems to care more about money and having a chip on his shoulder, for all the club has done for him he should at least come out and say that he either wants to go or stay!!!!

If Sane sells for £40m then all other players transfer fees will drop pro-rota , he has 18 months in his contract and i am sure there are hundreds of other players in similar situations , the german rags might be getting a bargain , but i think the £40m we get for him will go a long way in the 2021 transfer market. UEFA will also have to be more flexible on FFP , if they do not want clubs going to the wall they will have to let club owners pour money into their clubs to save them. Step forward Sheik Mansour and his oil/blood/human rights(delete as applicable) stained cheque book.

A year left now and a lot depends when football starts back.

Problem with that though is if you sell Sane you can't put that money towards Sergio's replacement as you'd need more to replace Sane. We're are crying out for someone who can play on the left as at the moment(without Sane) we have one player who plays in that position and he was getting worse by the week there since October. Also if he's underachieving it shows how frighteningly good the lad can be because his goals and assists when he plays are very good already. Plus his work rate had gone up hugely over the 18 months before his injury but rarely got mentioned.

You just watch them introduce a rule where any club with a nett debt can allow owners to out funds into the club while any club that is self sufficient will be allowed a limited budget to spend.

If he goes anywhere, he will not be getting the money City were offering a few months back. Bad timing for him, and many others not in the middle of a mega contract.

For example Sanchez. Would be on 20 % of his current deal if he moves.

Real shame what's happened with Leroy, when he is on his A game he is a joy to watch and a class act. I retain a small hope he will stay, but not looking good.
