His end product is superb. If Sane gets through he invariably makes the right decision and he’s a superb finisher.
He can finish. He doesn't get into positions to do so often enough. With his attributes and the amount we dominate teams he should be up on 25+ goals a season. I don't think he'll ever be that player. He's very one footed, doesn't really score headers, doesn't really get on the end of crosses, hasn't developed that knack of getting in positions to convert like raheem has.

His pace is frightening and gives teams a headache. You have to plan for him. But I don't think he's ever developed the consistency to kick on and go to the next level.

I'd have no problem getting 60 odd million for him.

I think Diogo Jota at Wolverhampton is a terrific player and will be making the jump to a big club soon. He has more output at a lesser team than Sane has at a team that regularly destroys opposition.

Sancho has more output than him too at a younger age. He should never have been allowed leave

He tends to be instructed to stay wide to stretch teams where as Sterling is told to get into the box more often.Double figures for goals and assists to seasons running is very good from a player who plays much like a traditional winger than the likes of Mane,Salah and Sterling. He was just starting to show for Germany that he could play down the middle though and was looking very impressive there. For what he could achieve I’d put him up there or above anyone else at the club. So because of his talent I agree he could be scoring even more but he has time on his side there. Unfortunately I think it’ll be at another club where he goes on to be one of the best in the world. Ability wise and natural football brain he’s far above Sterling.

He's our only left winger.
Yep to think weve not have missed him is crazy , he was a massive part of helping us win the leagues the last 2 times , he also brings the best out of sterling on the right hand side , we’ve missed his pace , he had the potential to be one of the best players in the world but was unlucky with the injury , can’t blame pep for playing him in the charity shield that’s daft , heinsit a wonderful thing are you Gona blame pep for playing Laporte the game he got injured ?

Sterling is far above him for work rate and attitude.

He got the work rate of someone who thinks he is already a world beater, without being a world beater.

Also, going back to Germany and Bayern is a weak move. A team who dominate domestically not a challenge. He should be looking to challenge himself if he had any notion about kicking on.

What are you on about you dozy bollix? I've never mentioned anything about him getting injured, or Pep

I actually think his work rate had improved hugely over the last couple of years. His attitude could perhaps be better but he just seems very laidback. It’s easy for us to call it a weak move but Bayern are one of the biggest clubs in the world so it no surprise that a German would want to go there especially if he’s being offered a lot more than he’s on here.

He has a tendency to play hide and seek when things don't run for him in a game. The good ones don't do that. I don't see him taking games by the scruff of the neck, he has flashes of brilliance. Nothing I've seen from him makes me think that can be sustained to becoming on of the greats. Far too many limitations. Has he the weapons? Arguably.

Bayern is a weak move in my opinion. They will dominate domestically by hook or by crook. It's an easy ride. Go to Spain to Barca or Real. That's a challenge. There is expectation.

He'll get minded at Munich, he seems to need that, the arm around the shoulder. He'd be fucked in at the deep end at a Madrid or Barca.

He hasn't the minerals for it.
