Or, why don't we do what's in the best interest of Manchester City and use the money we get for him to go buy a new player and make ourselves better on the pitch? That's how you show strength, not by throwing away a 50m asset for nothing, worsening our FFP position for no reason, and ruining our reputation for how we treat players just so we can spite Bayern.

Not an analogous situation I accept but I expect that the club learned some things from the Tevez situation

Apols if I’ve missed it but is there not a minimum fee release clause in his contract? If there is I would sit tight and wait for that to arrive, even if that means running his contract down and him leaving on a free

To keep it relevant to the thread I'll sum it up by saying your memory is as inconsistent as you would have many believe Sane's work ethic is.
