Definitely has and it's a result of not playing football properly for a season. Same happened with Mendy.

I'm not so sure. He's been fit since the end of February and he would have been exercising regularly like everyone else.

I think it's either him developing naturally or a conscious decision to bulk up but I'd be surprised if he goes back to being the same size he was a couple of seasons ago.

Don’t wish him ill at all. Love the way Pep doesn’t panic about a player going, it’s just a case of ‘if anyone doesn’t want to stay they can go’. We aren’t a small time club that leaks stuff to the media regarding contract negotiations to try to manipulate and pressure the players. I hate Bayern with a passion, but I wish Sane well, he’s a German National going home who has contributed massively here.

At the end of the day though, he’s never been an undisputed starter in this team - we have immense options up front and with Sane going and Aguero due to go next summer I’d expect us to sign some top, top talent to go up top.

This is never gonna end.. will it!
Man those bavarians are cheap.

Imagine what Sane thinks of them as they value him so low.

If Bayern only see him as a £40m player or even worse are prepared to wait a year and get him on a free , then surely Leroy should be rethinking his options and either staying here (unlikely now) or looking for a club that really wants him , If a paltry £40m or getting him for free is all Bayern are prepared to offer then clearly they arent that interested and certainly dont see him as a player they can build their team around for the future..

If Sane waits he gets a significant proportion of the 40m himself. Thats the way he will be thinking

Very short sighted way of looking at it if that is Sanes stance. He's 24, not that far of 25. He hasnt really played for a year and if he does see out his contract here so he can get a free one to Bayern thats 2.5 years of next to no football. He will probably miss the euros and also put his world cup chances in jeoperady. And all for what? A few million quid on top of the 10's of millions he will be earning each year in wages and endorsements? He will fast go down as one of the most talented players to do nothing with it we have seen in a long time.

He’s then sacrificing nearly three consecutive seasons of football in his early twenties. There’s not many players around that are that motivated by money they are willing to sit out some of there best years for it. Sane is a professional, he will no doubt be itching to get playing regularly again after such a long time out, Bayern have obviously got in his ear gave him the whole “we will build the team around you” speech, for them to then turn around and ask him to sit out another year so they can save a bit of money and he can pocket a bit more is unlikely to go down well. We have a lot more bargaining power than people on here seem to think with this.

The Big Question is: Who has more to lose from Sané staying?

1) Manchester City throwing away "£50m"
2) Bayern Munich relying only on Gnabry for the wings
3) Sané Possibly missing 2.5 years of regular football

Bayern's Forward
Kingsley Coman (24) <-- Injury Prone
Ivan Perisic (31) <-- ON LOAN

Serge Gnabry (25)
Tomas Muller (31)
Robert Lewandowski (32)

I know the answer already. Because weather Sané stays or goes, has ZERO effect on our priorities.
(as we are not planning to replace Sané)

oh and Financial Fair play is suspended, So we have time to balance our books if needed.
