Sane isnt arsed he knows he will be sold & he knows hes going to get a cracking signing on fee so it's all in the script.

We have Leroy & dont need to sell him up to Bayern to give I guess City's valuation.

I recon City want around £60m or fuck off.
With all that has been said, he isn't worth £60m, so I suspect he will be sold for much less

Hate to say it but if he is basing this decision on what his mother wants then he is not a "man".

I love my mother dearly and I am grateful to her and my dad. However, he is of the age of majority and has a family of his own. A "man" would put his and his own family's interests first. He makes enough money to provide financial stability for his mother, should she require it.

Would we have beaten the Germans twice in war if every British, American, et al young man old enough to make his own decisions had to ask his mother if he could join the army?

My 2p, though it is likely worth less than that.
How low can you stoop to insult Sane. Questioning Sane's masculinity, talking about wars and his nationality, all because he wants to leave.

We've had it all...
First it was "ungrateful greedy bastard"
Then it was "kill his career, put him in the reserves"
Then it was "he's shit anyway"
Then it was "he's not a man, my daddy fought in a war like a man"

What next?

I would go down to £25m, but £5m add-ons for each Bundesliga title in the next 10 years and £10m for each Champions League, and £250k per international cap in the next 10 years.

Makes you wonder doesn’t it. Money should be the least of his worries with what he’s gonna earn in his career. Has the potential to go on and be a true world superstar, which I just don’t see happening if he goes to Munich.
Why would going to Bayern stop him becoming a superstar?
He is guaranteed at least a couple trophies a season, good runs in the CL, he will become a poster boy for Bayern and probably Adidas when his current deal runs out.

No other team has even raised an interest because he doesn't want to go to anyone other than Bayern, are hands are tied. It would be nice to think we will keep him on the sidelines for the next 18mths to "teach him a lesson" and make sure he doesn't go to the Euros etc but I dont think the club or Pep would do that.

Peps comments are a shot to the club and Txiki to do a deal, he doesn't want Sane moping about hte place for 18mths whilst he needs to go about winning the league again.

Whatever we get is going to be less than his value but thats life, we gambled last year and lost. One of the few real losses since the takeover, we take the 40-50mil and go again.

On reflection, most German footballers seem to rank the relevance of the national team much higher than their English counterparts, and with the notable exception of Gundogen and Ozil (both of whom receive considerable political abuse for different reasons) the vast majority prefer to stay in the Bundesliga, until the twilight of their career.
Perhaps, it's only coincidence, but Sane has never quite played to the same level of intensity as he did, immediately prior to being omitted from their 2018 WC Squad.
