Pep wasn't to blame for Sane putting in a half-arsed defensive display in the short time he was on against Spuds on Sunday.
Oh ok - I guess it was Sane's fault that the cross he provided to Sterling to tap in and close out the game did not go in. Pep is a genius to keep Sane on bench so Sane could not provide similar bad passes earlier in the game.

Pep says that it is very competitive to get in the team and it is based on performance - in case of Sane he has not been totally honest. Sane has been passed over while Mahrez given chances while under-performing. Number of times Sane has been brought on and saved the team with his brilliance - away game at Schalke was one case. Bringing him on and expecting him to do miracles in 89th minute is ridiculous man management. Sane will be as big or bigger player than Sterling, maybe not here and maybe not under Pep if he does not give him chance to grow. If Pep could not manage the talent and give them opportunity why did he even bring Mahrez in the team.
So why do you think Pep has given the chance for Sterling to become a POTY candidate, and one of the best in Europe, while Sane hasn’t been able to establish himself? If Sterling and Sane were made available which would the top C/l clubs go for ?I don’t think it’s ability Sane has that in droves , at least as much as Sterling. What has Sterling done to convince Pep that Leroy hasn’t from more or less the same starting point . Personally I have no idea but there must be something.

Why would he be the worlds best striker and worlds best player? he is fast and scores in a tinpot league, sane has proven himself here,i wouldn't swap him for anyone,he has the much bigger potential imo

It's fair to say that I will not be able to convince you. We are expressing opinions not facts.

Don't get me wrong, I think Sane is very good and has much more locked up in terms of potential.

Don't forget he already turned us down saying he is turning down manchester not pep,he turned down the best team in england to stay at home in france,he hasn't the bollocks to test himself imo, sane is a brilliant player with many more years to improve,he is just a kid but he has proved himself here already
He was 18 and a Paris boy when he chose PSG, within 2 years he’ll be at Madrid . Sane has a lot of ability but not quite Mbappe levels, doesn't matter anyway we aren’t getting Mbappe.

Who knows what is the reason, it is all speculation - one could be he wants to prove/justify that the 60 million bet he made on Mahrez is good one just like he gave Bravo more than fair share of chances to prove himself when he brought him in in his first season. Whatever be the case he needs to get over this and get Sane back in the team.

Think thats the point so far Pep hasn't managed to unlock it, whereas with Raheem he blown the bloody doors off. Might not be anyones fault some players just don't work for some coaches, no one to blame hopefully between them they’ll work it out and we’ll see the best of him. But if he won’t sign then we have no choice but to let him go and move on.

From what i've seen of him in the CL he is not at sane level,we'll have to agree to disagree on this one

Pep bought Sane, didn't buy Sterling and usually plays Bernardo instead of Sane so it isn’t that.

I think Sane is a prodigious talent and has all the tools to become a truly elite player, one of very, very best. He's fucking mustard.

However, Pep obviously sees something in training, whether it's his application or attitude, that grates on him. On Sunday, there were 'times' when his attitude seemed poor, not just to me, but to numerous fans around me.

Please don't take my criticism of him as my suggesting that he's shit, because it isn't. What I'm saying is, if Silva, or Sterling for that matter, had been in some of the situations that Sane found himself in on Sunday, the difference in 'defensive urgency' would have noticeable. Sane did track back at times, but he also switched off and maybe this is the flea in Pep's ear.

We look far more dangerous with Sane on the left and Sterling down the right imo

This leaves us with a straight choice between the Silva's for the AMC role, currently, even though it burns my heart to say so Bernardo is the guy moving forward and David if he still wants to stick with us for another couple of seasons will be first rotation with Foden breathing down his neck in the queue for game time.
