Have there been any quotes from anyone significant that confirm there is a problem with Sane's contract situation?

There haven’t been any quotes from anyone significant about anything to do with his contract situation.

The only thing I’ve heard about it is from the man’s mouth himself where he looks happy and content and has said he will be here next season.

I can't find anything either. Reminds me of the Sterling non saga

Hope he stays and becomes a world top 3 player.

If he leaves it'll be without bitterness as he's played a huge role over the past two years.

Let's wait and see.

I can see him going unfortunately, something isn't right between him and Pep. Needs a good game against Leicester to warrant him being a regular starter, as he was very poor against Burnley when given the chance.

Why do you think somethings not right between him and Pep?

Without Leroy I’m struggling to see that second half performance at Old Trafford, that was only one game earlier.

I think people are reading far too much into it. It’s very easy to be inconsistent when you’re 22 and not playing regularly.

I also think football fans get things in their heads with some players and when they don’t play well, there’s a problem.

Yet others get away with no criticism or no worry and not too much is read into it.

Look at Laporte last week. He was just about the worst player on the pitch in the first half at Burnley. Look at Foden the other week; hailed as being close to MOTM against Spurs, yet he only touched the ball 41 times in the whole game in centre mid (David had 94 touches at Old Trafford and ran the game) and he was barely in the game second half and when we was he gave the ball away. Nobody aired any concerns over that. Yet people have been saying David Silva isn’t playing well and is on his way out at the top level and people see problems between Leroy and Pep.

Hopefully he'll sign a new contract, has the ability to be a very special player

Sane's game is based around attacking the space in behind the defence. There was no space in behind Burnley.
