It's not about fullbacks,we lose a fast winger who is going to be the attack,a fullback is a poor substitute, raz on the left for 60 games? no matter how you view it we are losing a talented fast option,i don't believe for a minute we aren't going to miss it and we are not looking to get another winger in,a probably ban next summer, hope it's been thought through
Ah, in that case I agree. I'm actually fine selling him, but I think it's a ridiculous decision not to buy a replacement. If we sell him at this in the window the whole situation has been mismanaged in my opinion.

Will be very disappointed if Sane leaves especially to Munich considering the way they have conducted themselves. Sane blew hot and cold, but still contributed massively to our success last season and I am sure there is a lot more to come from him in the next few years.

I think we need to invest the money ( if the sale goes through) in a cb possibly Maguire (gets tin hat on) as we are short in this area and we still have Sterling, Mahrez, Bernardo and Merlin as our wide options.
I think Foden will get the odd bit of game time out there with Silva staying in the centre. Phil played there twice in pre-season from memory?

If he does go then he leaves with nothing but best wishes from me. Bayern will always be ****s, but the pull of going back home must be very strong for him. He’s been a big part of two unreal seasons and for that he deserves a lot of credit.

No one is bigger than the club though these days and we have far too much to be excited about to sulk about losing him. roll on Sunday and giving Liverpool a good hiding.

He didn't get enough game time second half of last season. That was his own fault (he was shite too often) but you can see why he wants to leave. However I think if he sticks it out he'll get much more time next season...
I think he could get more time , but he'd need a big improvement to become a regular starter ahead of Sterling, Aguero, Jesus, Bernardo. Think the best he could expect in the immediate future would be to push ahead of Mahrez in the pecking order not sure he'd start the season ahead though.

We'll be weaker if he leaves. But no point keeping a player who doesnt want to stay. Just hope we get the money for him and dont let him go cheap

again i dont know why people are saying he has a higher ceiling than sterling. he does not have the same football IQ as sterling and more importantly not his work ethics. he is just faster than him and probably better in one on one but that is not enough.

And a better finisher. and more composed in the box. and better at passing.
