Deal agreed with Bayern Munich for Leroy Sane - €60m (including add-ons)

If you think good business is bending over and accepting any demands, then by all means. But that's exactly what gets you into trouble with FFP. And Bayern aren't doing what I would do. They bid 40m. I would have bid just slightly more than it would cost me to loan a similar level winger for one season, so probably around 20m tops. There's only going to be a few months between the closure of the transfer window and 1st January 2021 anyway.

Bayern have a gentleman's agreement with Sane, and they consider him 'in the bag', so from Bayern's perspective they're bidding for what is the equivalent of a one-year loan deal for Sane. Say his contract ran out in 5 years time and, say, Real Madrid bid 40m to loan Sane for one season, wouldn't you accept it? I'd laugh all the way to the bank.
Your a bit of an arrogant fucker for someone who has only just joined the forum. Why dont you just fuck off with your arrogance, maybe come back at some.point when you have acquired some humility to your hosts

He will leave us and has had his head turned on numerous occasions by direct quotes given from Bayern The german equivalents of Liverpool There courtship of him has been typical of a club with no respect and thinks its the dogs bollocks i just thought at some stage City could have been a bit stronger and tell them to fuck off but we appear to accept bullying tactics Win or lose CAS he is a goner.not sure he has such a great relationship with our Pep i will always have good memories of his brilliance and wish for him and not Bayern that his bad injury hasnt affected his game

100 quid that you're unable to find me a clause that Bayern have broken in the rules you claim they broke?
Section C1 of the FA rules, prohibits a player who is under contract, or his agent, from talking to other clubs, or being approached by other clubs, without the consent of the player’s current club.

Despite the rules, tapping up still happens as clubs strive to improve their standing, footballers look to improve their pay packets and profiles and agents are always eager to pocket the hefty percentage a new deal can bring them. Approaches will often be made when a player is away from his club on international duty or via clandestine meetings out of the public eye.

Possible sanctions
If tapping up is discovered, punishments may be handed down by those involved in the meeting, including to the:

  • club tapping up the player;
  • manager of the club tapping up the player;
  • player;
  • agent of the player.
In a high profile case in 2005 involving Arsenal defender Ashley Cole who, with his agent, illicitly met representatives of Chelsea FC, the sanctions imposed were:

  • a fine and a suspended three-point deduction for the club;
  • a fine for the manager;
  • a fine for the player;
  • a fine and a suspension of the licence for the agent.

Yes, nice try. You posted the English FA rules. Bayern aren't obliged to follow those rules. Try the FIFA regulations instead. Anyway, my last post here. This place is way too hostile.

Well I guess you got what you came for ;)

While I agree on the factual level of different domestic and international rules you should improve your communication skills instead of coming across as an arrogant prick.

People on here are not stupid, and generally - you don't seem to know much about City.
Clear case of "not what you say but how".

Don't reply - last post, mind :)

Is the transfer window open? I honestly don't know. If it is we should try to get this business sorted if the lad wants off.
No, FIFA have said it can be opened before leagues are finished but most leagues including the premier have said teams can't transfer players while league is going on, though they could negotiate and agree. Doubt those still in the c/l will want to sell players before that's finished as well.

Thanks for the info bud, we can wait until we have won the chumps league in an empty stadium before we get rid and get a replacement.

Will be a sad day when Sane goes. I think he was terribly missed this season and MC is noticeably better as a team when he is on the field. He seems to open up the offense like no other player on the roster, save for KDB of course. Front line of Sane-Aguerro-Sterling, with KDB at attacking midfielder is the best variant I've seen from them. Sane >> Mahrez. Shame it's unfolding the way it is. Still hopeful for a turnaround.

You should confront the inevitable, he is gone, sadly

Pep was quoted saying Sane was looking like signing 3 weeks ago, now changed his mind.
Maybe after playing in the last games he might change again.
A champs league medal around his neck and a massive pay rise and a buy out clause.
What's not to like!

Decisive fucker ain’t he.

One thing that has been on my mind lately is why is leory getting so much air time on the man city social medias, as in photos of training, he always seems to be the main picture.

Do we look like fools if he decides to jump ship which is looking the most likely scenario
