So no graft,no effort.....he just got lucky with his body shape and responded brilliantly to a ketogenic diet

Ok Marv.

Ronaldo's success is based on perfecting his own game to get the absolute best of his talents.

If Leroy had the same single minded ambition he could possibly emulate it imo.

But tracking back, in a team system is nothing to do with it. Ronaldo only cares about a team as his backing band, to help him win stuff.

So it benefits himself AND the teams he plays for?

I've no idea what that is supposed to mean, but last season, we had Sterling & Bernardo fit most of the time.

We still needed Leroy Sané's contribution to get through it.

Sell Sané now & take either or both out at Christmas. See where we finish.

If Pep thought selling Sané would put our season at risk then he'd not be for sale. End of. No one at City would overrule him and he's far too obsessed with winning to just have not weighed everything up.

The fact the club seem willing to sell, albeit for an incredible fee, means Guardiola thinks he's got what he needs or has someone lined up to come in.

Maybe he's seen decided Mahrez is going to hit POTY form, maybe he's seen one of the kids show something, maybe he's decided to change the formation.

I've got no idea what the solution is, but there's no chance he'd sanction a sale that would leave the squad short.
