Anyone get the feeling Bayern are looking to use the extra month of transfer window they have in Germany, to ensure a champions league rival is weakened and can't strengthen?

Should be setting Bayern a deadline, hopefully we already have. Meet the asking price by the 6th to enable us to find a suitable replacement, medicals etc, or the price increases afterwards to compensate us for the loss of a first team player until at least January.

He is not a kid, 24 I believe, and as others have said, is is learning from the arguably the world best teacher, in one of the greatest club teams ever created.
And from reports I have seen, seems to have been almost bullied by his mother in a possible return to a very inferior German league.
23 and he is not being played is he,that's the point,he wants to play,to be the poster boy for germany should not be tempting then? His mum is his agent and he trusts her

Pep challenges his players to be the best they can be.
Sterling took on the challenge and last year was player of the year.
Sergio took on the challenge and took his game to another level.
ditto Bernado's form in his 1st season compared to season 2 last year where he was immense after much less playing time in his first season.

Is Sane made of the same stuff so he can take on Pep's challenge and be truly great or does he want the easy option to go home and be a big fish in a smaller smelly pond ??

Like I wrote earlier. His decision/actions will say more about him than any words.
If he chooses to leave then he is not a Pep player.

Germany is his home country,he might fancy being part of a rebuild as the star man, also his profile wil be huge and all that comes with it,it's not a backward move if he plays every single game, the draw to go to all that is understandable,we have not put him up for sale, bayern are trying it on with the lure of the above,i don't buy the attitude problems just because he a laidback style about him and he waves his arms about when a move doesn't come off,so do kev,he is what he is and a unique player in the team as he is different from the others
As said, if he is possibly on the market I would have thought there would have been many clubs trying to pick him up.

Perfect player and profile for PSG and especially Real.

A move back to Germany for a club at the start of a major rebuild is unwise and says a lot about his ambition.
He could resign for us , continue learning from Pep for a couple more years then move for big bucks.

He is not playing for a reason. He either does not listen to his manager or other players in our squad are seen as more productive to the team.

As a career move , I see Bayern as a backward step, if it was Real or Barca I could understand.

The fact that only one club is in the market for him is very telling in my opinion.

Players of this quality are few and far between, maybe he does have attitude problems and the major clubs are wary of him

Agree with this.

Perhaps Sane feels under appreciated by Pep, and therefore the chance of being the BM poster boy appeals to him. As supporters we don't really know what is going on between the club and player, but I don't believe that Pep would deliberately leave him out if he was doing as was asked of him by the manager.

If it is going to end in Sane leaving, being an emotional ( and therefore somewhat irrational ) fan I want the absolute top money for the player. BM have acted like twats ( unless encouraged by City as some are suggesting ) to demonstrate to other clubs that we will not be bullied into selling players that we wish to keep cheaply.

It seems as big a factor as anything else so why not? Other players have made themselves undroppable so it’s down to himself how much he plays.
He has lost a fortune by not signing a new deal laid out for him for a year now,for someone to post money with a capital M is trying to paint him as a money grabber,i don't agree

You seriously believe we would allow Sane to leave after the window closes?

So why have Munich reportedly offered him double the salary City have offered him then?

The only reason I can imagine that pep wasn’t playing Leroy was his application and attitude to his job? Stories that on the training field Leroy was hard work, petulant and didn’t always put full effort in with fuck pep right off!

He is not on the market,we have NOT put him up for sale, why do you think we are fighting to keep him,Real have just brought hazard and barca have neymar and psg mbop even if he was on the market which he isn't,it's not unwise for a german player to be lured back home to be the star player,it's not difficult to understand is it?

He is in negotiating , and if reports are true that Bayern will give me 350k week he has won the jackpot at the expense of his career.
