You can bet I've been hating the lot in my younger years when they were winning everything in their arrogant style
and I've been celebrating with passion any single time they lost a match or even dropped points.
But some more years on my clock and 2 or 3 gray hairs let me change my view and when I'm looking out into the world I can see that hatred is the first reason for so many rubbish developments when it could be so much easier with a step back and a bit of respect.
In case of Leroy I still would love him to stay but only if he is fully committed to City and Pep.
I generally don't like maximum egoisms in team sports and if 170k pw isn't good enough for a 23 yo lad I won't care if he leaves.
Endless growth is killing the planet and I don't see football players in a parallel universe. I see them as members of our societies as anyone else.
I'd like the kids to stop earning more fortunes than they already have and start playing football and be grateful for the life they have.
