Are the press going to put a negative spin on City's stance on this, if we hold out for a fee that he's worth in a market inflated by other clubs?

Has anyone thought that maybe Leroy doesn’t want to leave? He might want parity with some of his younger teammates and abit more game time but is very happy at the club?

I don't know if someone feels the same as I do but I'm getting impatient. I think we supporters deserve some respect especially from a fan favorite like Sané. You want a new challenge and be a starter ? Fine I understand and respect that but just say it. If Sané wants to leave then sell him to the German rags for 95M Euros and let's find an exciting replacement. We have Sterling and Bernardo that can play on the wings. We have Mahrez that has the potential to be a great joker sub. Can't we break the piggy bank and go for Joao Felix ? What about David Neres from Ajax ? Pépé from Le Losc ? Some players can't be replaced but a young and talented attacker is not that hard to find.

Behave. Sane owes the supporters jot all. He’s doing his thing one way or another, the seasons barely finished so who knows what he is or isn’t saying to the club.

Wasn’t it Bayern who saved your club - Pauli - couple or years ago? If I remember correctly it was Bayern which granted you a charity match to raise the money which - without the help of Bayern - you would not had been able to raise. No Bayern, no license..(sorry for off topic)

Sane to Bayern is still possible. I am quite certain that Bayern would not have talked about him publicly without knowing him to be generally interested. However, the amount of money - totally legit of us to demand - might be to high for Bayern.. let us hope they can’t afford him because I am sure we would sell him if the amount is right.

There are no real options for Bayern to replace Ribéry and Robben if we consider who is on the market. So I am afraid they will go all in
Bayern have used this tactic before. Bailing out Dortmund with an interest free loan.
All seems a bit murky to me.
They also share sponsors with Wolfsburg, Audi owned by Volkswagen and wanted to sell kdb to Bayern. That’s even murkier.
On the surface, it seems legit, but underneath it’s like every team owe Bayern.

A bit positive that isn’t it?

Very much so mate but Leroy didn’t look like a guy who was desperate to move? If he takes on board what pep says, gets the fire in his belly he could become one of the worlds best and get very well paid for it?

What’s your line of business? You need to get into football, your knowledge & experience is awesome. But make sure you go to the swamp - you’d fit in sooooo well there.

Two week half term?

Honestly at this point I'm fine with us keeping Sane even if it means we sell him for less next year. I don't want him to go for anything under €100m this summer, and another season could mean Leroy earning more playing time that he is looking for and the potential to extend him further. If he chooses to stall, then we can sell next summer. All the top clubs will be in for him with only a year remaining so while we likely wouldn't generate €100m then, we could probably still get around €75m or so from a bidding war, which would be an excellent return with only a year left.

That being said, Uli Hoeneß is a ****. Pass it on.

Hope we don't sell to bayern at any price. Sell to Madrid if we have to.

Dortmund are closing the gap to Bayern. We are on a cold war with this cartel club, and shouldn't consider strengthening them at this point. If Sane is intent on Bayern move, then demand 120m so that Bayern can make no more signings.

I think what he could give to City on the field for the next season is worth passing up 100 million in a transfer fee now, even if that means he leaves for nowt later on. So City should tell Bayern no and offer Leroy a reasonable pay increase to extend his contract, then if he turns it down he can make do on his 65k a week playing for the best team in Europe till it runs out.
