Since when has an injury to a City player ever been "not as bad as first feared". It's fucking uncanny how many serious knee injuries to key players we pick up.

I remember at least a couple to KDB in 2017/18. He got completely cropped by Puncheon at Selhurst and looked out for several months. Back the following game. Then that dirty fucker Dele Alli - and he came back and scored a thunderbolt a few mins later.

ACL injuries are weird, you can walk around and feel okay for hours, some players have even played on with a torn ACL for a while. Nobody is in the wrong here.

Spot on - apparently there is an NFL quarterback in the Hall of Fame who played for years without an ACL in one knee.

Aw, shucks, thanks, guys.

We're all fucking nobody in the grander scheme of things.

Yesterday, I took my shoes and socks off and stood for half an hour in a stream betwixt the majesty of the Cuillins mountains on the Isle of Skye.

I almost cried at the needed reminder of how insignificant we all are.

Just me, the wife and kids and a flask of tea.

Love it. Enjoy it. hope you've got a while on the island.

Well if he has fucked his ACL, I hope Bayern will still buy him. I don t think he will ever be the same.
Strange how all this happened

What ! How could that be ...

Spot on. Determining the severity of ACL injuries and whether to perform surgery on partial tears or not is also just as much art as science. I'm assuming thats what taking so long, if the ACL was fully torn it's not a difficult decision.

Leroy Sane’s injury is worse than previously thought, and may even need an operation. There’ll be a further investigation tomorrow, and the potential operation is said to be why City have kept quiet about the situation. [@SPORTBILD via @Sport_Witness]

Sane could go under the knife and ‘be out for months’. This wouldn’t completely rule out a move to Bayern, with there being a possibility he could make the move and recover in Germany.

Ah well, in that case, they can do us a favour and take him off our hands for a generous 50m... Euros.!

Aye bloody right, nice try Bildbags!

Very bad news. Can be out for 6 months, Bayren will decide to sign him next year with one year remaining on his contract he can go for half the price we want this summer

If it is a serious relatively long term injury, I wonder how the discussion over the long offered not signed "new contract" will go now ?

Yeah we should stick the contract in front of him now and say see you football career could be over in a second and you have 2 years left on 60k you’ll end up having to get a job.
