That c@nt TAA was kicking our players all game. I know he didn't mean to cause a major injury but he's still a c@nt.

He'll probably recover just in-time for the January window and the circus will start again.

Nar bud but I once had s ride on the donkeys at Blackpool and shovelled horse shit for a weekend as a volunteer, but couldn’t tell you jack shit about being a jockey.

Trying to look at the positives. Hopefully not a full rupture and this could be a real turning point for him. Plenty of time to reflect and come back with a new mindset. He could be twice the player we’ve seen so far.

Surgery = ACL reconstruction. For athletes a reconstruction will always be the choice as studies currently estimate that 90% of patients will be returning to pre-injury levels of ability. Any other surgery would be useless, for someone who aspires to continue a high activity level.
 
Now the nervous wait to see exactly how badly damaged it is. Could be 4 or 5 months, or it could be the entire season. Get well soon.
 
Ben, offering his advice from a position of experience.

I have also been in Leroy’s position, twice... it is a long road but he’ll have the best medical care on the planet, so his knee will definitely be in better shape than mine when recovery is complete.

 
Gutted for the lad. Don’t it twice in same knee. Obviously they have better care than I got but it’s a horrible amount of rehab. Really hope it doesn’t affect his pace. Also that ability to change direction. I think Arjen Robben did his and made a full recovery didn’t he? He came back at the same level as well. I love Leroy and hope he recovers and realised what a great club he is at and wants to stay. Sounds awful but hope that little twat who tripped him and caused the injury, which I’m sure he didn’t intend but nonetheless caused, gets a bit of pay back, not a career threatening injury like this mind. Can imagine Klopp praising him for it.

1980 is when I was 8 and chose my football team (I asked my dad who he supported and went with that!). Fair dos to you mate, I often wonder how many ex pros are on here.
 
A real shame,but we hopefully get a incredibly fired up and motivated player(with a fresh 5 yr contact) for our title run in and trophy assault.
