He's fit enough and young enough to make a full recovery. To sound a bit ruthless though. The contract will have to stay on table for now.

Meh. This sucks. He will never be the same. His pace will be affected.
I also don t think that we will offer him a new contract too soon.

Well, if we maintain our contract offer, we are optimistic about his recovery. If we withdraw the offer...

Can I ask are you a Dr / surgeon ? You seem to have a lot of knowledge of the subject..
No, but I have had footballing knee injuries...one in particular while playing for Leeds that was dealt with by Drs associated with City at the time, and more recently I had some imaging done on my spine after a surfing accident in Hawaii, so I’m quite familiar with both knee injuries and the current fidelity of medical imaging.

You?

Unfortunately I received the news that he would miss most of this upcoming season , he will probably never be the same player again after this injury and be lucky to get more than 50 mill for him next year with also only having 1 year let next year
Depends on the severity, if it's a rupture it's a long recovery, a tear is now easily fixed with a 4 to 6 month rehab and should come back the same. Don't forget Dr Cugat will be on the case :)

Germany will probably call him up next summer just to road test him and spite us.

They win either way.

By that point who cares? He's either signed a new deal with us and it'll get him fit for 20/21 or he's leaving and it's not our problem, although a good Euros would up his price.

9 months out, the worst likely scenario, would have him back end of March anyway, so he'll have had 2 months training with City and/or making a return.

Experts in knee surgery are few and far between and unlikely to be on this forum.....forum.....it`s a place to make comments and pass on your thoughts and ideas. No point having a pop at each other! Let`s not turn this into a red café type forum and give each other some credit and leeway

Sport medicine is constantly advancing, I'm optimistic Sane will recover fully from that injury and come back earlier than expected.

In retracing my steps, I feel like I have done exactly that.
We are ALL concerned about Leroy’s injury and possible outcomes. I was merely pointing out a post that sounded different, and not necessarily in a good way. I believe that has been rectified to the satisfaction of both parties involved, with suitable deference on my part for any slight.
I think we are over it...apart from a few pot shots by others. Such is life.

Moving on...
