I'd have loved to see his version of it because he wouldn't be subservient to the comic book community about it. It would boil their piss but be a better film because of it.

Alan Moore us a brilliant ‘graphic novel’ writer, but I think you’re right..the comic purists hate anything on celluloid.

Actually, the Watchmen on HBO was very good.

The film by Snyder was very accurate to the comic as well.

I still haven’t read the graphic novel (I will) but I know a few ‘purists’ aren’t fans and that extends to the author.
I enjoyed it though and you’ll always find fans of books slaying film versions.
