Some of the older boys out locally still wear trainers. Just wear what you’re comfortable in.

SL 72 are the best trainers I've ever bought. I've got a few city series and gazelles, but these fuckers are amazing

I got some SL80’s from Size? recently. They’re blue with yellow trim.

I buy a lot of my shoes from charity shops, the most I have paid for a pair is £25 and that was for a pair of very smart brogues. Fair play to those who want to spend their money on extremely expensive (£150) shoes but that isn't for me.

Have a look at Lanx. A small shoemaker based near Clitheroe. Cost about £150 a pop and have just released some oxblood brogues.

Sure they had a pitch in Stephenson Square last year when they had the car free day.
Trainers named Sankey and Ancoats.

Couldn't do that mate, putting my tootsies into the unknown is a no no, the previous owner may have suffered
