Arsenal panicking big time trying to get this done. WHU in a great position.

They've had a mare pissing West Ham off with their first bid. They've gone from a supposed untouched run at Rice to making a shit bid and suddenly (whether real or not) facing interest and a price-drive.

Surely stones a CH stepping into CM is the same as rice a CM stepping into CH if needed?

No it’s not as Stones is a centre back when we don’t have the ball. Rice has never played there professionally - i understand stones had never played midfield either but he has been involved in Peps build up play from centre half for years. it’s different for Rice to play CB out of position and also we are looking likely to get Gvardiol anyway so Rice at CB not happening.

The Walton family are the richest family in the world that are not royalty.
Who cares
I keep being told you can only spend what you earn
Owners wealth matters not ffp is the rules
Of it was previously
Probably change now arsenal, cChelsea and united want to spend money

Update from EXWHUemployee:

Rice has made it clear that his chosen destination is Arsenal. The two clubs are negotiating and West Ham due to FFP want more upfront. He says despite Man City’s interest Rice would be more likely to stay at West Ham if a deal can’t be agreed.

I thought I’d read rice has been CB before, I would add that potential of 70 games next season plus international calendar. Rodri ain’t surviving that, extra body needed as pep obviously doesn’t trust Philips
