I agree. When I watch West Ham he’s not a wow player and doesn’t do anything spectacular. He’s good, works hard, does the simple things well a bit like he does for England but I think we should be after players better than good.

Right now we have the fortunate position of having the greatest manager in history as our coach so whatever you see of Rice now just x that by 3 and that's what he'll be like after a few years with Pep.

FWIW, I think we will get Rice but believe he wanted to go to Arsenal so he could stay in London.

agreed! Rice, Gvardiol and Kovacic would be a hell of a start to the transfer window for us! Anything else then depending on outgoings but a winger wouldnt go a miss.

We would be set for a long time with those 3.

We should give Borges and Mebude a try in the off season. I can see them being quality.
