I'm talking about Grealish playing as an 8, which I see as a midfielder. I think something's being lost on translation here... \0/
All 8's are midfielders!
I said we should play him as an 8. Upfront we need a clinical winger!

"Why you should be ok with this signing and feel how we tell you to feel about it"

Contrast to their strategy for every significant City signing(probably...I don't pay much attention anymore).

Not worth paying attention to mate neither,it’s made a big deal of when City buy, always is,but dumb fucks also forget the fact that the dippers have the record fees for their goalkeeper and a certain centre half who plays in red,but that’s easily forgotten about

Love it how quick sky sports put these type of headlines up whenever one of the entitlement clubs splashes the cash.
Why Arsenal Distorting the Market is Good for Football

You missed my point. I think Grealish will become more effective, delivering more assists as an 8.

An elite LW will be more suited to tearing the arse out of deep lying defences, where the player is being doubled up on.

Hopefully this clears up the confusion! :-)
I didn't miss anything, you were the one missing what I was saying because you were too eager to "beg to differ". In any case, I believe your confusion is certainly cleared up.

Only wanted to move to Arsenal, used City to get them to pay an extra 25m or so. erm ok.

Defence wins you titles. Don't care if they've got rice, Arsenal's left back and right back are weak defensively, Ben white got spun god knows how many times, no disrespect to zinchenko but against better opposition his defensive fragility was exposed.

Defence wins you titles, without Saliba they are vulnerable. Timber is good but not a saliba type.

Compared to the juggernaut of a defensive structure we've got, add to that the best press resistant and ball carrying midfielder in the world in kovacic we've just improved. Add Gvardiol that entire defensive structure is incredible with no weakness. Can defend well and break the lines the perfect balance between world class defending and playmaking

I think also, he'll see Arsenal as a potential for him to become 'the missing piece of the Jigsaw'. If he can see them strengthening in other areas and pushing on from last year, he could be a key part of the project that leads to glory.

Fair dos to him, you don't get to this level without having a lot of confidence in your own ability.

Yep I reckon this four centre backs playing, Pep is loving it and you have Rodri then stones roaming in there is going to be our backbone to our attacking players! When we went to four centre backs we hardly let in any goals..

I also find it funny when they ask experts on the "Best run club in the league" and without fail they say us :)

Loads of people just hate facts given to them :)

Will be very interesting to see if £105m Declan Rice is scrutinised to the same level as £100m Jack Grealish? Not quite sure that question needs answering.
Not at all

He plays for the "media darlings"

Plus they wouldn't even put him as the most expensive Prem player (it's 100m not 105m same as Jack)

It's because of all the trophies they have won ;)
