Oh do fuck off!

As if that was the reason why City bid.

Correct about brain dead and clueless.

Still would tho so I'm confused -:)

She’ll dine out on that for good. And she’ll add it to her pundit CV. Watch the pundit work roll in now.

How do you know we aren’t in the same scenario right now? Remains to be seen how well the club has handled this situation. If Plan C is signing a very raw player from Celto de Vigo I can’t say that fills me with a tone of confidence.
We had an experiment along those lines last year with Gomez and it didn't really work out and thankfully he was not needed for any length of time.

Based on what? Simple question you can’t answer. Leave at that. Maybe think about what you are typing before pressing send If you can’t defend your point. All this big club nonsense is daily star territory anyway.
I do think about what i type. So much so that i don't write a lot of stuff because i know there will be nit pickers and pedants dragging me into defending my writing a few words in a forum.

You said "By your logic, every team that has won in the past is a big club." which is just silly. Clearly i don't think that and thats a pedantic extrapolation. But by all means have another dig i have work grown up stuff to do.

I said i considered Arsenal a big club because, quite simply, in my lifetime they've won lots of silverware. to add to that, when not winning they've been there or thereabouts. The George Grahame and Wenger era's are fairly fresh but even going back to the Liam Brady days. So i defend my right to consider them a big club.

We should go for Caicedo right now. But he's probably too far in negotiations with Chelsea.
