I’m going to take that as a firm “maybe”.Nowhere near good enough.

How confident are you that this will happen?
Still feels pretty 50/50 although the overriding view in the media is that he'd prefer Arsenal.
Bournemouth at home springs to mind lolThere‘s very little evidence that our fans were celebrating back in March. We‘ve had too many occasions in the past when early hopes were subsequently dashed. If you look at my posts all season, you will see I was always clear a title win was unlikely given the relative weakness of our squad and the over dependence on key players who if injured we couldn’t cover for. But don’t let the facts get in the way of your prejudice, eh?
Below is my post from October last year in the Arsenal thread:
You’re right to point to our lack of depth and the over dependence on key players who if missing through injury would badly impact our performances and that is why the league in reality is highly unlikely. I suspect we might have a better prospect therefore with the Europa League but even that is difficult. Our goal is top 4. Anything else is a bonus. Were we unable again to secure champions league football, the season would be seen as a failure.
I need say no more.
Nowhere near good enough.
Love the attitude of Phillips if he wants to be behind Rice and Rodri. He’s mad but love the attitude
Ha qualityPaqueta Rice.
That has a familiar ring to it.
Heard anything new regarding alternatives or potential attackers? If Phillips gives the nod, I think we can still get an agreement.
Rice won't want to compete with him also. Moyes has made it clear Phillips is his number one preference to replace Rice.
I wouldn't take much notice of London writers and their optics.
City have been interested in Rice for over 12 months but Bellingham saw us drag our heels.
No sillier than claiming that they weren’t singing it.That's silly.
1. They didn't think they were going to lose. Frankly, there' were many City fans who agreed with them for a long time.
We need to stop with the fake chip on our shoulder stuff. Fans of other teams hope to win too.
They aren't here for our coronation. Thankfully, that's what we are here for :)
City have done 7 in last 12 seasons : )Not having that I’m afraid , football goes in cycles , the Liverpool side of the 70’s and 80’s dominated with 7 titles in 11 seasons , United did 8 in 13 , City seven in 13 , it wasn’t talked about as being boring then , so it isn’t now , it’s boring to Arsenal fans because you have never ever dominated for a longer period than 2-3 titles in a ten year period , it’s why Arsenal will never ever be classed as a great side like us, United and Liverpool, and that’s how it is sunshine I’m afraid.

Maybe he still does? Maybe Rice and Phillips compete for 1 position while Rodri moves forward to fill Gundogan's role?Hardly. Milly has heard differently, will always depend when people get their information.
Timelines are crucial. A week ago Phillips was certain he had a shot at competing.
is Phillips now considering this move? (If you know) or just being pushed by city to leave?City won't sign Rice unless Phillips is moved on. West Ham are desperate for him to be included.
Tough on the lad but ultimately the right decision. Some transfers don’t work out for a variety of reasons. Philips is still a very good player but to get into this city team you have to be exceptional at certain aspects and so far albeit in his limited performance we have just not seen it. Which is a shame as we all want our players to do well.If he only wants to go to Arsenal and they are bidding against themselves, you have to ask why the deal isn't done?
We have been waiting on Phillips. He knows we are prepared to let him leave.
Kalvin might want to stay, but it's being made clear he won't get many opportunities again next season.
Buying Huddersfield’s team and manager after they won the league three times on the run by offering loads of money the Tarquin fucking hypocritesQuestion for any Arsenal fan on here. Forget the honours list. What are your historical moments? For example, a reigning monarch opening your new stadium, competing in the centennial cup final, being relegated as reigning champions, having a goalkeeper playing with a broken neck…….that sort of thing.
Heard anything on szoboszlai mate? Or are we set in attacking areas?

My feeling as well don't think Phillips wants to leave, and as you say thinks he will play more next season. We hardly saw the man at all. I don't think he will make it here whatever he might think.Phillips seems to think this whole “City players often take a year to adapt” thing means he’s just guaranteed minutes next season and he’s going to be integral to the team. He needs to take the fucking hint, he isn’t even wanted here and won’t play if he stays.
