We made just one initial bid starting £15M higher than Arsenal's initial bid. For all we know we could have been waiting for arsenal to go "all in" on their 3rd bid and then beat it with either a higher bid or one with much better payment terms. It's highly likely that this 3rd arsenal bid is their final one anyways.
