Defining moment that turned this season around?

Southampton away. Our form was patchy to say the least and they were in a rich vein of form at the time. Indeed people were talking about a European place so well were they playing. We went there and ground out a 1-0 win but it was more the manner we did it that impressed. We got that edge back, that gritty determination to not get beaten, our hunger if you like. It was like we had forgotten the hard yards and suffering you have to go through to succeed, we had become too comfortable. That day we regained our mojo.

When pep started managing the team again, stopped picking his love child and finally admitted what we all knew, that Phil was the man we suspected he was. He got lucky with Johnny boy , doubt he had any more belief in him than the rest of us. Fantastic how that worked out. The first 10 or so games were as bad as the next 10 have been good. Had we performed in them we'd be out of sight.

When someone said the shit are challenging for the title, pep said to the squad stop fuckin around time to knuckle down.

Maybe a bit harsh but Walker getting covid over Christmas.

It was at that point Cancelo got his chance at RB and Zin returned, and we haven’t looked back since. Our attacking play just clicked after that, even though we had been grinding out a few wins in the weeks beforehand.
