To be fair they are really quite different types of player...Alli's first touch and control is utterly top notch mind...he also has the ability to nutmeg, pass well, find space/good positions, finish with aplomb...in fact thinking about is the lad can do the lot. At 20.

You've just said they're different players and then listed a bunch of attributes that De Bruyne is better at. I like Dele as a player but the only thing he can do better than Kev is heading the ball.

Plus, I'm convinced from his interviews that he tortures animals and is planning on moving up to humans. Just a feeling.

Actually I think he's superior to even kev in one or two facets. His ball skills for one, with genuine nutmegs and fancy flicks etc. Although the dick measuring against kev is utterly moot because he's superior to the one player who will actually need replacing before long...David Silva. Alli just has way more to his game. More goal threat, more physicality, more pace, the same superb touch, and probably only behind in basic passing.

Alli would make a super addition to any club in the world, just wait for all the big clubs to come sniffing around over the summer as proof... When a rival player is linked it amusingly always becomes a "he's not as good as x player at this club" fest here lol. Read similar shit regarding eden hazard over the summer...

Not even close to Silva in my opinion! In any facet of his game except scoring and Dave has been one of our best players this season.

I'm sure Liverpool fans thought that about Sterling, we tend to get our targets from English teams no matter how much belly-aching goes on from the manager, media and supporters.

I think Alli is a good player but I don't see where he fits in our team and I certainly wouldn't be paying the quoted fee. Also, he will get the Sterling treatment in terms of fouls for/against and will have his wings clipped by the officials

Definitely! Veratti is the only player that we should look for in the middle. We didn't had a proper DM since de Jong was sold, and Veratti is so much more.

Now this I could get on board with! Top top player.

I'd prefer someone with a bit of a physical presence than Verratti for the DM role - we have enough pipsqueaks in midfield already and they need balanced out.

I think this signing benchmarks the real shift of power in the prem. He is probably the hottest young ticket england has had to offer since Rooney and I really do like everything about him
Runs himself into the ground and has a nasty streak in him. He is a different player to Silva, but I think more suited to the 4 1 4 1 system where KDB and Silva sit in the 2 x 8's position

From what I have heard too, he has had his head turned BEFORE this season even started.

Raumdeuter? I had to google that and came up with Thomas Muller who described himself as a Space invader. Deli Alli the best Space Invader in Europe you say? Not a patch on the pickled onion flavour.

Yup Müller was the perfect Raumdeuter(Space King) player.Not anymore though..Alli is.Lacks the flair of Merlin/Sané's pace but his intelligence on the pitch is nearly unrivalled.While not appearing to excel at any particular part of the game, his forethought and decisiveness elevate his ability..Would reach world class levels under Pep.All in all,little chance he moves to an English club if he ever moves.

There lies the mentality issue
I would take a Rooney type player all day long
Born winner, who has got everything in his career, with an attitude and playing stye everyone hates (those who are against him of course)
Nothing wrong with Rooney at the end of the day, he has the kind of cut throat mentality I wish we had some times

In the games like Chelsea where we choked after KDB's miss, and when we bottled it against Spurs, having a Rooney in the team would not be a bad thing

We need more Wa**ers in the team, as we have a soft underbelly. Get Alli in if he is anything like Lampard or Rooney
