Delph's April Fool

There is nil chance of him playing in the middle to replace yaya.

To be fair, he hasn't played much and looks rusty but Pellegrini can't afford to risk him in the middle. He's shown a lack of quality on the ball in most of his appearances and very limited positional discipline. I haven't seen the stats hut he must be subbed with at least 30 mins to go more often than not.

I got slagged off on here early season for saying he was mediocre when many were making out he was the bargain of the season. Feels like we are letting a fan play for a few minutes every game. He is absolutely dire.
 
Never a left sided player. But poor first touch means he will not develop into a more than average back up player.

The only reason we signed him was he was a relatively cheap English player. Some fans love a trier however average they are.
 
He's a CM, not a left winger. Imo he was a really good buy and he's been unlucky with injuries and played out of position.
 
I don't buy this can't play wide left. he's a premier league player at a top premier league club surrounded by some of the best players in the league. There's another reason why he can't play out there or anywhere else for that matter, he's nowhere near good enough.
