Disappointing news but if he wants to go back to Argentina then there is no point in keeping him at the club.

If he wants to stay until the end of the season then that would be ideal. But if he wants to leave earlier it would disappointing but understandable.

4 is usually pushing it to be honest. 5 is obviously overkill. Obviously Denayer is superior to Boyata, but you look at last year that even with injuries to Vinnie, Boyata got 5 games across all competitions as our 4th choice CB.

I think even if Martin leaves (which would be a shame), we should still loan Denayer out. You almost never substitute at CB, so 3 should be fine for a squad.. Humphries or one of the older CBs in the EDS could always fill in if need be (or use Sagna as you said).

The game against Hull away where Vinny got sent off was a defensive offside trap masterclass.

Will always remember that game as it was crucial in our title charge and our two most slagged off players at the time, Demi and Garcia, made a lot of people eat their words.

It just goes to show though how certain players can bring about the managers ideas. Without Demichellis I doubt we would have adapted to Pellers style of play so smoothly.
