Demichelis

Isn't he on international duty now? How on earth is he still getting selected for Argentina?

Makes letting players like Savic, Nastasic & Denayer go look criminal. We don't know what goes on though. These guys could have said "4th choice? Not me. Bye." Injuries have killed us. Still think Sagna could have started CH yesterday.

Nothing could ever make letting Savic go look criminal, not even if the alternative was 'young' Mr Grace with a flat tyre on his wheelchair

Denayer is still with us, albeit on loan; hopefully he will play a big part next year.

With Savic, and Boateng I might add, it looked like a great move at the time to recover any money on them, as both were useless for us. Only Nastasic had a good period; ironically he was criticised in Pellegrini's first year for diving in early for the quick tackle and no one was sure why his form dropped so dramatically (seems this was a tactical thing after all, as our defenders frequently do this and aren't particularly adept at it)...

Age has caught him up not his fault the blame has to lie with the manager. Then before the game Pellegrini stated Demi was nervous and that makes the decision to choose him even stranger!

i blame pep 8-)

Like others have said, it's not his fault. He wanted to leave but the manager refuses to play young players so Denayer had to go in favor of a badly out of form veteran.

Are you familiar at all with the concept of Manchester City?!
Haha, you have got to laugh haven't you? Only City could be taken over by the best owner in world football, carefully lay solid foundations, build on these by adding top quality signings, win two titles in three years, have our main domestic rivals struggling, and finish 12 points behind Leicester Fucking City.

I know. It would be comical if it wasn't so fucking depressing

If carlsberg did fuck ups

Thought his experience would cover his lack of pace. Wasn't very wise or alert for the goal yesterday.
Maybe it's his age, but he has the odd naps in games. See Huth's 1st goal for Leicester.

Whilst pace is certainly an issue, I sometimes think the bigger issue is the wreckless early (jumping in) that most of out back line engages in (not just Demichelis).
