Wouldn't disagree with that. The economic method debate has been dead for years in the US.

There did used to be a clear devolution (Rep) v federalism (Dem) split but in a time when Republicans are backing Federal bills to override state law and Democrats are targeting local and grassroots issues the lines are blurred there too.
