Democrat US Presidential Nominations

Get invaded by the Romans, and let them put one up. Two if you're lucky, although the second may have to wait a couple of decades.

Surely Canadians are so polite that you just need some signs saying "please keep out"?
They don't read so well, Eh,

We had May v Corbyn.......

It's time to just vote for a potato our choices are limited both here and across the pond. The fact May and Trump actually won shows how far down the path of madness we've gone. Boris as a saviour for the Tory party? Creepy Joe Biden as the new Messiah for the Democratic party, from the looks of it the real politicians are dead and now it genuinely is a popularity contest only.
As you rightly pointed out both May and Trump won, 15 years ago a snow globe would have beaten them both out of sight.

A potato?
"The eyes have it"!?

Running as an independent, Howard Schultz's campaign might be shorter than the reign of that Pope who got poisoned. In 24 hours he's managed to piss everyone on both sides off with his statements about how Democrats are too liberal and Republicans too conservative, implying that he alone has an ideology that best fits the nation. Coming off as a rich, smug know-it-all devoid of charm isn't exactly the right tone to win people over.
