They don't know where to throw Bernie's votes. LolI was slack jawed when Deval Patrick's name came into play!
Here's a company man that hasn't been on the debate stage, who is polling TERRIBLY and manages to beat Tom Steyer in the 'result'!
I fookin' LOL'd!
So as I was explaining to a friend. Iowa Delegates count isn't like the Electoral College. You can win the Electoral college and lose the popular vote simply because Each stat has a set number of Electors. And it's winner takes all.
So for example if you win 51% in every State but lose 90% to 10% in say California. You can lose the majority vote by 5 million but still win an electoral college in a landslide. Because you get every Elector from all the narrow wins. And would have lost the Same number of California electors regardless of how close it was.
It's annoying but it makes sense. Iowa's Caucus on the other hand is devised in ways that make manipulating way to easy and tempting.
Delegates are won based on percentile numbers. But if you win say 2.49 delegates based on your votes you only get 2 delegates because they don't award half delegates. However, if you win 1.51 you also get 2 as your number would be rounded up..
Thus, if you check Bernie's total votes in about 70 of the precincts that have descripancies, his votes seem lowered just enough that he is under the .5 margin and thus has to be rounded down.
So he is always getting rounded down. It's quite interesting. Bernie's camp believed this happened in 2016 and that's why they demanded they change the format and report raw votes first ballot, 2nd ballot and Delegates count.
Transparency has never been a Democratic strong suit.
Does Anyone at this point think a 3 day delay is due to just technicalities? Bernie Lawyers all over Iowa asking questions. Lol
